NETS 101

The Nets announced Tuesday that forward Shawne Williams will undergo foot surgery Wednesday to remove a bone fragment in his left foot.

According to the Nets, a timetable for his return will be decided on after the surgery. 

Nets team orthopedist Dr. Riley Williams III and foot specialist Dr. Martin O'Malley will perform the surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan.

Williams averages 4.5 points and 2.7 rebounds per game.
